1.Split the forum into several mini-forums. e.g. RULES for Protocol etc., CLASS IDEAS for class stuff, UNRELATED CHAT for any random stuff.

Structure:

Home page: Our class theme for the term/week
Inside Page: Topics related to work, topics related to play, random topics etc.
Inside Inside page: Topics and their posts

found this to be a very nice theme. Over the next few days, the theme will constantly change and after that, we will have a vote or compare the feedback
